The glass body of this tiny grinder made us less likely to toss it into a bag and take it traveling or on a camping trip. Silicon grip upgraded from the original grinder the silicon grip on the pro is much wider and easier to hold while grinding offering a much more stable grinding experience. The skerton pro seeks to improve consistency with a stabilized upper burr and a spring loaded lower burr while moving the grind adjust to the lower burr assembly for. However it falls a bit short in the portability category. The reason being we had two coffee grinders in use already in my home.
