So check that the power is on to the switch that powers the fan and check the batteries in the remote control.
If the wattage is more than 190 watts it will disable the light kit.
You ll need to check the batteries check the dip switches and if that does not work then you may need to replace the remote or troubleshoot the receiver.

You can reset the kit by turning off the power and replacing the incandescent units to keep the wattage below 190 watts.
That is because it comes with a wattage limiting component.

First thing you need to do is to follow the remote button reset instructions in the manual that came with your remote control.
So get a ladder loosen the bell at the ceiling where the fan hangs.
